ABOUT

Kevin Bennett, PhD, is a teaching professor of psychology at The Pennsylvania State University, Beaver Campus. He is a fellow at the Centre for Urban Design and Mental Health and an Affiliate at Penn State's Center for Socially Responsible Artificial Intelligence.
 
A regular contributor to Psychology Today, Bennett's writing has appeared everywhere from the Chicago Tribune and Popular Science to Business Insider and possibly your social media feed (if the algorithm is feeling it). His insights have been featured by The New York Post, Sports Illustrated, China Global Television Network, Talk Radio London, among others.

Dr. Bennett earned his Ph.D. in Psychology from City St. George's, University of London in the UK and degrees from the University of New Mexico (M.S., Experimental Psychology) and the University of Michigan (B.A., Psychology).
 
As the Program Coordinator of baccalaureate psychology degrees at Penn State Beaver, he oversees the B.A. psychology degree and both B.S. psychology degrees (science and business options).

He teaches courses at the campus in applied social psychology, advanced personality theories, evolutionary psychology, introductory psych, and the psychology of serial killers & mass murderers.
 
Beyond campus, Bennett is the founder of the Blue Lion Drum Circle, a rhythm-fueled percussion and wellness group that proves drumming is cheaper than therapy and twice as fun.

He is also the creator and host of the podcast Danger, Deception & Desire, where he explores the dark underbelly of psychology. No couch required.
